CONGRATULATIONS ZOE AND NIAMH Congratulations from all at Annan Rugby to Zoe Mitchell and Niamh Ross who have both been selected to the Scotland U18 Girls Sevens Squad that is heading off to Prague for a Rugby Europe tournament beginning on Saturday 15 July. ANNAN RUGBY – DODDIE 555 CUP RIDE

February 17, 2023

The Doddie Cup 555 Challenge being a charity cycling event in honour of Doddie Weir, who very sadly succumbed to MND on 26th November last year. The ride was led by Doddie’s former Scotland and British & Irish Lions teammate Rob Wainwright aiming to deliver the match ball for the Doddie Weir Cup, but the ultimate goal is to raise funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, to help find a cure for MND.

Team members Gogs Carmichael, Gary Coupland, Sean Buckley and Derek Reive attended Annan Academy today where they were presented with high energy bars specially developed by the school Nat 5 and Higher health and food technology pupils as part of their end of year assignment.
