WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

10TH OCTOBER 2023

A message from Laura MacKay

Every year we celebrate World Mental Health Day on the 10th October, which is about raising awareness of Mental Health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health. After all mental health is a universal human right.

Also the day gives a chance to talk about mental health, how we need to look after it and how important it is to get help if you or anyone you know is struggling.

To help myself and also Alison who is now on board to help in this most important subject at Annan Rugby to spread the work of how important it is to talk and get help if you need it, or even some advice or information on what help is out there.

Myself and Alison’s aim here at Annan Rugby is to drive change towards a mentally healthy club for all and support communities, families and individuals to live mentally healthier lives.

On Annan Rugby’s website there is a list if different support groups out there if you need their help with all their contact numbers.

Also myself and Alison are available anytime if anyone needs help or chat or whatever you need.

Our contact details are below and also please be assured that it is all done with complete privacy.

Please dont suffer in silence, the days only get better, depression is temporary, hope is permanent, be kind to your brain it’s the only one you have.

And please keep an eye on our website at AnnanRugby.com as Alison and myself look to do some stuff to promote awareness of mental health at our club, this season and going forward

Take care all

Laura
