PVG ADMINISTRATOR

Annan Rugby’s Protecting Vulnerable Groups Administrator is Gary Coupland

Andrew can be contacted on PVG@AnnanRFC.com

Please see https://www.mygov.scot/pvg-scheme/ for more information

FANCY JOINING THE TEAM?

What do I need to do?

Just turn up at one of the training sessions and you’re halfway there!

All you need to wear are some football/rugby boots or a pair of old trainers and trackie bottoms/shorts and an old top you dont mind getting a bit dirty!

Anything else?

The SRU require all players to be registered with them via their SCRUMS system. Under 18 players must be registered by their parent/guardian. It’s a simple process and more information can be found at SCRUMS

Any problems or queries though then please ask a coach, someone at the club or email Contact@AnnanRFC.com

What’s the Cost?

Membership for over 18 players is £192 per season

Membership for student over 18 players is £84 per season – on production of a valid student card.

Membership for youth players is £72 per season.

Family discounts (20%), walking rugby membership (£36) associate membership (£20) are also available.

Membership runs from the 1st August to the 31st July and can be paid in instalments over 12 months or in one go.

We know that rugby might not be for everyone (unlikely but true!) so you or your child can attend a few training sessions for free before any need for membership is required.

HOW TO JOIN?

Ready to take the plunge? Then head over to our Membership page for more details on how to pay online

Need more info?

Contact one of the coaches or team managers, email Contact@AnnanRFC.com and someone will get back to you or send us a message.

WAYS TO WELLBEING

  1. CONNECT ~  Stay connected with Family, Friends and Colleagues.  Regular contact enables us to share ideas, concerns, worries and offer or received support.
  2. BE ACTIVE ~ Physical activity is good for our Mental Health, done in a way that is safe and right for you. A good diet, sleep and staying hydrated benefits towards good Mental Health.
  3. TAKE NOTICE ~ It is important for us to try and focus on being present and in the moment, as our thoughts and feelings about the unknown can overwhelm us.
  4. KEEP LEARNING ~ Mental stimulation has been shown to protect our Mental Health, taking up a new hobby or rediscovering old interest gives us goals to achieve.
