TEAM ANNAN DODDIE 555 RIDE LOCAL SPONSOR VISITS

On Friday 3^rd February, 2023, Annan Team – Doddie 555 members, Gary Coupland, Gogs Carmichael and Sean Buckley, visited two local businesses who are supporting the team in their 555 Ride effort.

First up was Albie Forestry Limited, who are kindly sponsoring fuel provision for the two support vehicles being used by the team throughout the event.

Next up it was off to Annandale Distillery who have supported fundraising events by both the team and have also produced a quantity of bespoke labelled Single Cask number 36, miniature bottles, for use by the team in their fundraising effort during their journey.

Annandale Distillery has a long association with Doddie Weir and on 1^st December 2017, Doddie, Gary Armstrong and Finlay Calder, helped had fill their first peated whisky into specially commissioned ‘Doddie Weir’5 a Man O’Sword branded bottles to support Doddie’s MND Charity.

In recognition of their continued support the team presented,  David Ashton- Hyde, General Manager the Distillery with a bespoke Endura cycle Jacket the riders will be wearing during the 555 ride.
