Only the 1sr XV iu action as the 2nd XV have a rest weekend in their 9 team league.

The team are travelling to D&G neighbours Wigtownshire in their latest league match.

Wigtownshire had a great win last weekend again Kilmarnock and lie in 3rd spot, 1 point ahead of Annan in 5th,

Annan were beaten last weekend for the 1st time this season and will be wanting to bounce back against the newly promoted club

Surprising the teams have only ever met twice in the league when Annan won both matches back in the 2012/13 season.

Player/Coach Juan Phyfer will be wanting to see a reaction to last weeks defeat to league leaders Ardrossan and get the team back into the top 3.

Should be a great match with both teams wanting to get back into/remain in the top 3 positions.

3pm KO at London Road Playing Fields

WARRIORS ON THE ROAD TO AYR

STOP PRESS: Defeat the Warriors against the Championship favourites. Match report – Now Online

After last Sunday’s draw to Greenock, the matches do not get any easier as the Warriors travel to Ayr on Sunday.

The Ayr side remain undefeated in their 4 matches played so far this season but the Warriors will be giving their all as always to stop that from stretching to 5 and pick up their first win of the season

The teams have met twice back in 2021/22 and both teams have a win apiece.

A tough trip for the Warriors but like last season, they are improving with each match and that elusive win is not that far away and hopefully they team will return to Annan with some if not all the points

2pm KO

Warrior Starting XV: Julie Warrick, Eilidh Jardine, Megan Cother, Rhianna Parker-Clevett, Hannah Paterson, Ashley Clark ©, Ashley Cole, Kayleigh Warrick, Niamh Ross, Nicole Barlow, Laura McGregor, Malvina McGeoch, Jane Stewart, Emilia Szelag, Katie Morrison
