ANNAN ACADEMY SUPPORTING THE ANNAN RUGBY DODDIE 555 TEAM.

7TH FEBRUARY 2023

Team members Gogs Carmichael, Gary Coupland, Sean Buckley and Derek Reive attended Annan Academy today where they were presented with high energy bars specially developed by the school Nat 5 and Higher health and food technology pupils as part of their end of year assignment.

HE Teacher Mrs Coupland said

“It has been very motivating for the pupils to be able to design and make these high energy bars for the Doddie 555 team.

This is an excellent example of the school working in partnership with the local community and the pupils being able to put their learning into action.

We wish them all the best and hope these bars help the cyclists push on through the 555 miles from Cardiff to Murrayfield, raising awareness of this dreadful disease”
