1ST XV ON THE ROAD TO OBAN
STOP PRESS: Lost 50-10….end of message. Match Report and Photos – Now Online
The 1st XV face the long trek to Oban on Saturday for their latest West 1 match.
The lads have lost their last 5 matches and are now in the relegation mix so a big performance on Saturday is a must.
With Ardrossan seemingly running away with the league, Oban were looking like the only team to perhaps challenge but were surprisingly beaten last week by Kilmarnock
Both teams need the win, for Annan its to stop the rot and climb out of the relegation spots while for Oban its to keep up their slim promotion chance.
For the record, the teams have played 4 times with Annan coming out on top each time. We could do with this record to be maintained on Saturday!
1pm KO
Starting XV: 1. Ryan Glass 2. Kieran Warrick (C) 3. Ronnie Martin 4. Frazer Hope 5. Callum Taylor 6. James Morrison 7. Callum Smith 8. Sean Haren (CC) 9. Fraser McMillan 10. Josh Whiteside 11. James Kirby 12. Adam Torbett 13. Alex Halliday (CC) 14. James Park 15. Andrew Jancey1

The 2nd XV have a home match on Saturday against Galloway (Stewartry, Newton Stewart and Wigtownshire)
The 2nd XV’s match last week was cancelled as we could not raise a team but hopefully a derby match will bring out the players
The lads have not won all season but have yet to have a settled team with 48 (!) players turning out so far in just 6 matches.

A big Warrior support would be appreciated as always by the players
