ANNAN RUGBY – DODDIE 555 CUP RIDE

The Doddie Cup 555 Challenge being a charity cycling event in honour of Doddie Weir, who very sadly succumbed to MND on 26th November last year. The ride was led by Doddie’s former Scotland and British & Irish Lions teammate Rob Wainwright aiming to deliver the match ball for the Doddie Weir Cup, but the ultimate goal is to raise funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, to help find a cure for MND.

6th – 12th February 2023 – Children’s Mental Health Week – Sadly the numbers of Children affected by mental health problems are forever increasing and with the impact of lockdown the health and wellbeing of our children are ever more relevant.

ANNAN ACADEMY SUPPORTING THE ANNAN RUGBY DODDIE 555 TEAM.

Team members Gogs Carmichael, Gary Coupland, Sean Buckley and Derek Reive attended Annan Academy today where they were presented with high energy bars specially developed by the school Nat 5 and Higher health and food technology pupils as part of their end of year assignment.
