Match Report for the 2nd XV match: Now Online
Match Report for the 1st XV, tries and most of the match – Now Online
The league season starts on Saturday with the 1st XV and 2nd XV at home and both taking on Strathaven.
Been a hard pre season with tough matches against Langholm, Strathendrick and Wigtown but the Annan coaches will have been pleased with the number of players who got to play in these 3 squad matches.
Both Annan squads will be wanting to make a good start on Saturday but Strathaven have always been a tough team to play against and will also be up for it to make the bus journey home more enjoyable!
Should be a great opening double header and with the U18 Boys also at Violetbank (11am KO) on Saturday will also be a great day of rugby at Annan

ANNAN WARRIORS IN HOME DERBY MATCH
STOP PRESS: Alas the match is now OFF as Dumfries do not have the numbers able to travel
The Annan Warriors continue their pre season when Dumfries Saints Ladies make the trip to Violetbank on Sunday.
After last week’s win of Cumnock, Sundays opponents will be a tougher nut to crack and with the Dumfries Ladies entering the West 3 division for the 1st time in a few week it might be a pre season match but also a derby match with both teams wanting to take the bragging rights into the new season.
Coach Warrick will have been pleased with the result last week against Cumnock and will be wanting more of the same on Sunday.
The Warriors league season starts a few weeks later than the men, so Sundays match is the 2nd of 3 matches before the Warriors host Hamilton on the 8th September to start league life in West 2.
KO Time: 2pm
