2ND XV ON THE ROAD ONCE AGAIN
STOP PRESS: Alas this week we do not have the numbers, (had to happen I guess!) so the match is forfeited.
As the 2022/23 league season staggers to an end, the 2nd XV still have a couple of matches to play if all goes well!
On Saturday, the lads are off to Ardrossan again for their penultimate league match of the season.
The 2nd XV league has been a bit of a disaster all round this season with only 26 of the scheduled 73 matches being fulfilled. The rest being cancelled due to lack of player numbers.
Hopefully next season there will be a few changes to the league structure/rules to allow the clubs with players that want to fulfill and play games getting more match time otherwise we are going to lose a lot of players to the game of rugby. And who knows, we might even get a few more home matches as opposed to 1 in 3 at home as has been the case this season for the 2nd XV!
Kick Off: 3pm
The 2nd XV’s last match of the league season will be away (what else would it be!) to Cambuslang on the 15th April.
The team also have a friendly penciled in for the 22nd April at home to Livingston.
2nd XV squad: TBC
