WARRIORS IN CRUNCH MATCH AWAY TO OBAN
STOP PRESS: Alas the Warriors go down 24-0 to Oban. Match Report – Now Online
Match of the weekend is the Annan Warriors long trip up north to take on Oban Lorne Ladies in their final group match in the National Plate.
With 3 wins from 3 so far, the simple maths is if the Warriors win then they will be in the semi-finals of the competition.
Oban Lorne Ladies though are also undefeated with 2 wins from 2 and the Warriors last trip to Oban earlier on in the season resulted in a 65-5 loss.
The Annan team will be under no illusions of the tough task ahead to get something from this match.
Even if defeated there is still a chance of the Warriors getting through as the best 2nd placed team from the 3 groups but a bonus point or 2 would be needed.
So all to play for on Sunday!
Kick Off: 2pm
There are still spaces on the bus to Oban. Leaving Annan Academy at 7.30am and Oban at approx 6pm. Contact Tracy on 07879854336 if you want to book a spot (£10/£5)
