Our current training schedule is as follows.
WALKING RUGBY – ALL AGES: Monday at the Violetbank – 6pm to 7pm
U6-U12 BOYS/GIRLS: Sunday at Violetbank – 10am to 11am.
U13-U14 GIRLS: Wednesday at Violetbank – 6.30pm to 8pm.
U13-U14 BOYS: Thursday at Violetbank – 6.30pm to 8pm.
U15-U16 GIRLS: Wednesday at Violetbank – 6.30pm to 8pm.
U15-U16 BOYS: Thursday at Violetbank – 6.30pm to 8pm.
U17-U18 GIRLS: Tuesday at Annan & Thursday at Dumfries – 7pm to 8.30pm
U17-U18 BOYS: Tuesday & Thursday at Violetbank – 7pm to 8.30pm
SENIOR WOMEN: Tuesday & Thursday at Violetbank – 7pm to 8.30pm

RUGBY MATCHES
1ST XV ON THE ROAD ONCE AGAIN
It’s been a poor start in the league for the Annan 1st XV with just 2 points and no wins from their first 5 league matches. On Saturday they travel to East Kilbride aiming to get that first league win of the season.
East Kilbride are also struggling, so it’s a great chance for Annan to pick up 4 or 5 points but the team will know that at home East Kilbride are a tough team to beat.
With this match being the 6th of an 18-match season, Annan really need to pick up a lot more points if they want to continue their 10-year run in West 1 come season end.

2ND XV AT VIOLETBANK
The 2nd have yet to play a match in West Reserve 1 with Annan unable to fulfil their 3 away matches this season and their 1 home match so far; the opposition could not come down. So it is hoped on Saturday, 2nd placed Cartha Queens Park will travel to Annan, and the 2nd XV can finally get a match.
The 2nd XV need to start fulfilling more away matches going forward, or they will be withdrawn from the West 1 Reserve league by the SRU so hopefully on Saturday getting a match will spur on the 2nd XV players to travel a bit more this season.

THE WARRIORS TRAVEL TO BISHOPTON
After their short break, the Warriors travel to Bishopton for their 4th league match of the season.
Bishopton are currently lying in 6th/bottom place, and the Warriors know a win on Sunday could potentially put them 8-9 points clear while the reverse a loss and the Warriors could take their place!
It’s a short 10-match league season, so if the Warriors can go 8-9 clear of the 1 relegation spot with 6 matches to go, it would be a great boost for West 1 survival and even start a run to potentially get into the top 3

YOUTH TEAMS IN ACTION
There are a couple of Youth teams in action on Sunday
The U13 Boys are on the road to Uddingston to take on the hosts and Lanark. 11.30am start.
The U14 Boys travel to Wigtownshire to take on the home side as well as GHK. TBC start
