RUGBY MATCHES
2ND XV AT VIOLETBANK
The 2nd XV have another home match this Saturday as they welcome Wigton 2nd XV to Violetbank for a friendly match.
Lack of match practice and game time was evident in last week’s match v Cartha, so this match will give a lot of players a bit more rugby action
The players then return to league action the following week as they travel to Dumfries for a wee local derby and the 1st leg of the AA MacPherson Memorial Trophy
2pm kick-off up at Violetbank.
THE WARRIORS TRAVEL TO LENZIE
The Warriors are back on the road again as they travel to Lenzie for their latest West 1 league match,
After last week’s frustrating match against Bishopton Ladies where the Warriors conceded more penalties and yellow cards than their last 5 league matches combined, the Warriors will hopefully have taken that lesson on board that sometimes you adapt your game to get the best out of the match.
With the October break coming up, it will be a changed Warriors side as several players are away on holiday.
2pm kick-off
Best of luck to both teams this weekend.
