NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Annan Rugby Football Club (SCIO) will be held as follows:

Date:  Tuesday 6th October
Time:  8pm
Venue: Violetbank

All members are warmly invited to attend.

  5. Chair’s report
  6. Treasurer’s report and consideration of the accounts
  7. Trustee retiral and election/re-election

Trustee retiral and election

As this is the first AGM of the SCIO, the constitution provides that one third (to the nearest whole number) of the charity trustees will retire from office.

With five trustees currently in office, two trustees will retire at the AGM. The constitution provides that the trustees to retire at the first AGM will be determined by a random method.

Those trustees will be eligible for re-election, and members will also have the opportunity to nominate eligible members for election as charity trustees, subject to the provisions of the constitution.

Members wishing to propose a candidate for election as a charity trustee are asked to provide the details to the Secretary at the email address below, prior to the AGM, in accordance with the constitution.
