MEN TEAMS IN ACTION
The 1st and 2nd XV are both in action this Saturday at home.
The 1st XV have a break from league action as they welcome Wigtownshire to Violetbank for the 1st round of the National Shield.
The teams last met a couple of years ago with each team winning the home match in the league.
Annan have never lost to Wigtownshire at home but that more to do with the teams only having met twice at Annan in a competitive match since both teams formation!
Their last meeting was down at the Everholm in April 2024 and the only time the teams have met at Violetbank was back in 2012!
Both teams will be wanting a decent Shield run this season, and who knows – a Murrayfield final in 2026?
The 2nd XV are on league duty as they welcome Allan Glens, a team they have played numerous times over the years.
After the 2nd XV’s great home win over Kilmarnock two weeks ago, the lads will be hoping for 2 wins on the bounce and get themselves into the top half of the West Reserve 1 table.
Will be a tough match as Allan Glens are always a tough team to play and beat
Both matches kick off at 3pm
1st XV Squad: TBC
2nd XV Squad: TBC.
WARRIORS ALSO AT HOME
The Warriors are also at home this weekend when they welcome Irvine to Violetbank on Sunday
After their loss to Lenzie on the opening weekend of the West 2 league, the Warriors have put 169 points past their last 2 opponents to climb back up the table.
Irvine Ladies currently sit at the bottom of the table but the Warriors will not be taking the Irvine Ladies lightly as they try to make it 3 win in a row
The teams have only met once in the last with the Warriors on top.
Match kicks off at 2pm
Warriors XV Squad: TBC

While the U18 Girls are at Moffat on Sunday hosting Carrick U18 Girls. TBC KO
