NEW MEN’S HEAD CO-COACHES ANNOUNCEMENT

Annan Rugby are pleased to announce the appointments of Andrew “AJ” Jancey and Conor Palmer as co-head coaches of the senior men for season 2025/26

AJ needs no introduction with over 300 appearances for the 1st XV over the years and had been with Annan since his mini days back in the 1990’s!

AJ stepped down from playing 1st XV rugby last season (albeit with a brief super sub cameo in one match) but was involved with the 2nd XV as player and coach on their successful West Reserve 2 Championship win.

Conor was Annan U16 and U18 Boys assistant coach during seasons 2019-22 and returns to Annan Rugby with a wealth of coaching experience after various coaching roles with RAF Leeming Hawks, RAF Northern Stags and Edinburgh Uni as well as the odd appearance for the Annan 2nd XV.

Congrats AJ and Conor and here’s to a great 2025/26 season.

PRESEASON TRAINING STARTS

The senior men start training this week on Tuesday and Thursday,

Both days will be up at Violetbank this week with a 7pm start.

From Tuesday 15th July however preseason training will be down at the Everholm

New players of any or no rugby experience always welcome as the teams get ready for the new league season
