2ND XV HOST CARRICK

STOP PRESS: Alas match is off as Carrick could not raise a team to travel to Violetbank

The 2nd XV are back in action as they welcome Carrick to Violetbank on Saturday

Its a shortened league season and Saturdays match is match 5 of the just 8 match season

The Annan lads at the halfway stage lie in 2nd spot and still have a shot at the title but they can afford no slips ups and need a couple of other matches to go their way.

Carrick are always a tough side and the Annan squad will need to be at their best if they are to come away with the win

2pm KO

2nd XV squad: TBC

WARRIORS ALSO AT HOME

The Match Report, the Full Match and the 8 tries – Now Online

The Annan Warriors have their last match of the league season as they welcome Bishopton Ladies to Violetbank on Sunday

The Bishopton Ladies clinched the West 2 title a couple of weeks ago and will be wanting to end their winning season undefeated.

The Warriors will be wanting the win to take a winning mindset into the Cup competition that will be starting in the new year.

For the Warriors it’s been a mixed league season with numerous season ending injuries to senior players hampering any chance of a consistent run in the league. However the Warriors have shown that on their day they can match and beat any team in this league.

Coach Warrick will be hoping that there are enough Warriors still standing though to put out more than just 15 for this match.

2pm KO up at Violetbank

Warriors Squad: 1) Julie Warrick 2) Megan Brogan  3) Megan Cother 4) Rhianna Parker-Clevett 5) Erin Ewing
6) Ashley Clark © 7) Lexie Glendinning 8) Kayleigh Warrick 9) Niamh Ross 10) Malvina McGeoch (vc) 11) Stephanie McCracken 12) Lexie Steel 13) Joanne Clark 14) Kirsty Barlow 15) Jane Haren 16) Katie Morrison  17) Jamie Graham 18) Acacia Clash
