1ST XV BACK TO WEST 1 ACTION
STOP PRESS: Great win on the road as the 1st XV came away with a 35-19 win over Cambuslang
It was nip and tuck for most of the match but in the last 15, Annan ensured the win.
The lads also scored 5 tries to pick up a try bonus
Well played lads, enjoy the after match shandies!
Points: Josh (2P, 2C), Oli F (T), Ryan H (T), Aitken (T), Juan (T), Aaron (T)
After the disappointment of the last few weeks, the 1st XV get back to league duties as they travel to Cambuslang on Saturday.
The Lanarkshire club are finding life in West 1 a struggle this season but at Coats Park, Cambuslang are always a tough team to beat.
Last time the teams met was just over 2 years ago when Cambuslang put 50 points past Annan, so the Annan lads know the kind of performance they need to come away with some if not all the points on Saturday.
The Coaches though will be hoping the Annan players will put their last league outing behind them and get back to the form that has given them 3 wins so far this season in the West 1 league.

2ND XV OFF OVER THE BORDER

Match Report – Now Online
The 2nd XV take a break from league business and have a friendly against Carlisle 2nd XV or Carlisle Crusaders as they are known.
Annan and Carlisle have long history of matches with Carlisle being one of the first teams Annan played when they were reformed back in 1968.
The 2nd XV have been playing great rugby so far this season and on Saturday no doubt it will be much of the same
3pm KO

WARRIORS AWAY TO 2ND PLACED BISHOPTON
STOP PRESS: The Warriors also go down – 22-5 to Bishopton. Captain Ashley with the solo Warriors try. Onto the next one Warriors.
Match Report: Now Online
The Warriors have the big match of weekend as they travel to 2nd placed Bishopton.
Both teams are unbeaten so far in the West 2 league, so something has to give on Sunday.
The Warriors have never lost to Bishopton having won 3 from 3 in season 2022/23 but this Bishopton side are a different prospect to the one from that season.
This is match 5 of the season so it’s a big game for both clubs as a win here will give either team the edge in this short 10 match season.
The Warriors have been hit in the last few matches with a number of key players picking up season ending injuries but the Coaches will be hoping that the squad can still come back with the win.
2pm KO
Annan Warriors squad: 1) Julie Warrick 2) Eilidh Jardine (vc) 3) Megan Cother 4) Nicole Mullen 5) Rhianna Parker-Clevett 6) Ashley Clark © 7) Erin Ewing 8) Kayleigh Warrick 9) Niamh Ross 10) Malvina McGeoch (vc) 11) Katie Morrison 12) Lexie Glendinning 13) Joanne Clark 14) Kirsty Barlow 15) Jane Stewart 16) Jamie Graham
