After great wins last weekend for both the 1st and 2nd in the league the teams are now off to Dalziel.
For the 1st XV is another West 1 league match while for the high flying 2nd XV it’s a friendly.
Last season in the corresponding fixture, the 1st XV were well beaten by the hosts but after the win last Saturday the players and coaches will be hoping for a better showing on Saturday.
For the 2nd XV its a chance to get the numbers out and continue the form the had in the 1st match to take into their next league match which is away to East Kilbride on the 14th September,

ANNAN WARRIORS HOP ACROSS THE BORDER

The Warriors travel to Carlisle Cougars on Sunday in their last pre season match before their West 2 league campaign starts at home to Hamilton next Sunday
Unfortunately last Sundays match v Dumfries was cancelled with the Park Farm side lacking in numbers but Coach Warrick will be wanting the Warriors to show the attacking form they had in their last match versus Cumncok Ladies
Its will be a very tough match though as Carlisle Cougars are one of the top ladies teams in the north of England

STOP PRESS: The U16 Girls will now travel to Biggar. 11am KO. Oban could not make the trip. Final score in this match was 7 tries each. Well played Hornets
Unfortunately the U16 Boys match is OFF.
The U18 Boys won their match, Leading from an early score, the match ended as a development match after numerous injuries to the home side reduced their numbers. Well played lads.
The U14 Boys match was a mixed development match due to a couple of early injuries.
Plenty of Youth Teams in action this weekend as 5 take to the rugby pitches
On Saturday the U18 Boys travel to Bishopton in their first league match of the season. After last week’s friendly the lads will be wanting to start their league campaign with a bang. 12pm KO
The U14 and U16 Girls are at Violetbank on Sunday. The U14 Girls host teams from Marr and Ayr while the U16 Girls host Oban Lorne as the Girls start their league campaign. 11am start for the U14 Girls, 1pm or 2pm KO for the U16 Girls – TBC
While also on Sunday, the U14 and U16 Boys are on the road. The U14 boys are away to Stewartry while the U16 Boys are travelling to Kilmarnock in the league. 10.30am KO (U14) / 2pm KO (U16)
