SENIOR TEAMS IN ACTION
On Saturday the 2nd XV are scheduled to be taking on Ardrossan 2nd XV at Violetbank.
STOP PRESS: The 2nd XV match is OFF as Ardrossan could not raise a team. Unfortunately too late to allow us to find alternative opponents
Keep an eye online for details as Ardrossan 2nd XV have struggled all season to raise a team and have yet to travel to any away matches this season (6 so far) and have only managed to raise a team on 2 occasions even at home.
In the event of the match going ahead, it’s a 3pm kick off at Violetbank.
If the Ardrossan match is cancelled, then a replacement match is being looked so keep an eye out online for that as well
Annan 2nd XV Squad: TBC
On Sunday the Warriors are back at Violetbank with their 3rd match of the National Plate competition as they host Dundee Valkyries 2nd XV
STOP PRESS: Big win – 55-5 to the Warriors
With 2 wins from 2, the Warriors will be wanting to get another bonus point win over the team from Dundee to keep their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals in place.
The Valkyries have lost their first 2 matches and are out of contention to qualify for the semi-finals but the Warriors will need to be on the top of their game if they want to come away with the win.
There will be a few changes from last weeks team that beat Lismore as Coach Warrick has a few more players to choose from as a number of players become available for selection.
The Warriors final match is away to Oban Lorne Ladies on the 26th March. A match that will most likely determine (assuming the Warriors can pick up some points on Sunday) which team tops the group and goes into the semi-finals of the National Plate
