ANOTHER BUSY WEEKEND FOR ANNAN RUGBY
It’s all go once again at Annan Rugby as nearly every team has a match this weekend.
On Saturday the U12-U18 Girls, 1st XV, 2nd XV and U18 Boys are all in action while on Sunday the P1-P7 Tigers, U16 Boys and Warriors take to the rugby pitches.
More teams at home this weekend than away. Your rugby weekend is sorted!
U12-U18 GIRLS ARE AT VIOLETBANK
STOP PRESS: A great morning of rugby with the Annan teams winning 7 from 9.

On Saturday, the U12-U18 Girls are in action as they host their first Girls rugby festival of the season.
Teams from Moffat, Stewartry, Ayr and Penrith confirmed with a few other teams expected.
Players to meet at 10am for the 10.30am start.
1ST XV ON THE ROAD TO STRATHENDRICK

The 1st XV are off to Strathendrick on Saturday as they aim to continue their 100% start to the season.
2 matches played and the maximum 10 points in the bag so far but Strathendrick will be a tough challenge. The last time the teams met in 2020, Strathendrick ran out 12-7 winners.
A win for Annan though and it will be the best start for a number of seasons as the lads try to keep the pressure on at the top of the table.
Kick off 3pm at Ruth Menzies Field.

2ND XV IN A DERBY MATCH

The 2nd XV are on the road as they travel to Stewartry to take on the combined 2nd XV of Stewartry and Newton Stewart.
After their opening day league defeat, the lads will be hoping to get back to winning ways in this local derby,

U18 BOYS HOST LOCHABER IN THE LEAGUE
STOP PRESS: The lads go down 32-5 to a a strong Lochaber side. Twas 5-5 at half time but Lochaber ran away with it in the 2nd half.
The U18 Lads have a home tie on Saturday as they host Lochabar in their latest Development league match.
Kick off 2pm at Violetbank.

WARRIORS HOST AYR ON SUNDAY

The Warriors are back at Violetbank on Sunday as they host Ayr Ladies.
The Warriors will be wanting to get back to winning ways after 3 defeats on the trot in the league.
The Warriors have never played Ayr Ladies who are also aiming for their 1st win of the season.
A big Annan support as always would be most appreciated as the Warriors aim to get their league season back on track.

U16 BOYS ON THE ROAD
STOP PRESS: The U16 Boys lost 55-7 to a strong Newton Stewart side. Onwards and upwards lads.
The U16 Boys travel to Newton Stewart on Sunday in their latest Development League match. 2pm KO
