SATURDAY UPDATE: THE 1ST XV SCORE A 5 POINTER

The 1st XV get their 1st home win of the season as they beat Strathendrick 27-17 at Violetbank. It was a scrappy match with the Annan lads trying to play a high tempo match but too often a knock on or a missed move kept the score down.

Annan scored 4 great tries though with Strathendrick keeping themselves in the hunt though through the boot and a solitary try.

The Annan tries came from Neal Coupland (2). a first try for the 1st XV for Winger James Park and another try from Mens Scottish Rugby’s try of the month winner Ryan Hetherington
