END OF WEEKEND SUMMARY.

SATURDAY UPDATE: 1ST XV DRAW / 2ND MATCH IS OFF
I write this same phrase far too often…..
Alas the 2nd XV match was called OFF as the opposition can not raise a team to travel to Annan.
Ah well, 20 players once again will have no match.
Least next week we have Edinburgh Northern coming down. These guys like to play rugby and have a few beverages!
The 1st XV draw with Cambuslang 1st XV 27 v Annan 1st XV 27
Points from Willix try, Haren x 2 tries and the boot of the Bigham.

SUNDAY UPDATE: WARRIORS DRAW! PLUS YOUTH TEAMS DO WELL
Short and sweet – Warriors drew with Howe Harlequins 15-15 on Sunday at Violetbank
Leading 10-5 at half time thanks to Allana and Chelsea tries, the Warriors looked liked they had done enough as with 10 mins to go Nadine scored a try to take the score to 15-10
Alas in the last play of the match, Howe snuck the draw equaling try to take the final score to 15-15
Well played to the Warriors and Quins for a cracking match. The Warriors have another home match next Sunday against Glasgow Uni Ladies.

The Hornets have a great Sunday at Biggar and Netherhall
From Coach Billy Henderson
“The U18 Hornets players went and joined up with Bigger Girls this afternoon against Cartha Queens Park. Biggar Girls won that match.
And 13 Hornets at U15 level went to Netherhall and played well in a big win. All good in the world for Annan girls rugby today”

The U16 Tigers fight to the end but go down 76-26 to a strong Dalziel side.
With the game looking like it might be stopped due to the points gap before half time, the lads came roaring back in the 2nd to close to the gap to just 19 points before the last quarter took its toll and Dalziel ran out deserved winners.

The P1-P7 Tigers teams all do amazing as usual at Langholm on Sunday
From Jack “Good mornings rugby for the P6/7s Annan Tigers with a fairly even festival.
With enough players for 2 teams it was a record of 2 wins 2 defeats and 3 draws.
One of which was a highly entertaining 0-0 draw with Dumfries.”
From Heather “Well done to Annan P4/5 Tigers today who played five games at the DG Festival at Langholm. Thank
you to our hosts Langholm who also organised a great sunny day for the games. Thanks to the supporters who travelled to watch our players and also Coach Neil Moffat for supporting our Tigers”
Plus the P1-P3 Tigers were as scary as always!
