1ST XV AWAY TO LENZIE
STOP PRESS: The lads lose 35-7. Points from a Ryan Hetherington try and Josh Whiteside with the conversion.
After last weeks great home win over Dalziel the 1st XV have another tough match away against 2nd placed Lenzie
The home side are having a great season and are the only team so far to beat leaders Kilmarnock.
For Annan, matches against the East Dunbartonshire club have been tough affairs in recent years with Lenzie coming out on top in the teams last 6 meetings!
However Coach Juan and the lads will be wanting to continue the form that has taken them into 4th spot and come away with the 4 or 5 points and close the gap on 3rd placed Oban Lorne.
2pm KO
1st XV Squad: 1 Ryan Glass 2 Keiran Warrick (C) 3 Sean Armstrong 4 Frazer Hope 5 Mason Watret 6 Stewart Livingston 7 Wallace Alexander 8 Ryan Hetherington 9 Josh Whiteside 10 Fraser McMillan 11 Max Thorburn 12 James Kirby 13 Aitken Render 14 Ben Latimer 15 Aaron Carmichael 16 Callum Smith 17 Ewan Campbell 18 Alex Jones 19 Juan Phyfer
2ND XV IN TOP OF THE TABLE MATCH
STOP PRESS: Alas a strengthened Ardrossan 2nd XV take the win 51-5. Ross Barlow with the Annan try
The 2nd XV are also on the road as they take on 2nd placed Ardrossan
3 teams can still win the West 2 Reserve Division – Annan, Ardrossan and Cumnock – and for Annan its a case of their 2 biggest matches of the season are their 2 last matches away against Ardrossan and then Cumnock in the new year.
Bottom line is that if the 2nd XV lads can win both matches then they will become West Reserve Division 2 Champions
Ardrossan beat Annan in their previous meeting earlier in the year but the team know what they have to do if they want to get over the finish line in West Reserve 2
2pm KO
2nd XV Squad: 1 Callum Taylor 2 John McKay 3 Craig Stefaniuk 4 Drew Thorburn 5 Gordon Henderson 6 Scott Muir 7 Callum Kirk 8 Adam Dickson 9 Simon Dix 10 Bradley James 11 Jack Ogilvie 12 Ben Conroy 13 James Park 14 John Glendinning 15 Danny Lockerby 16 Arron Kirkup 17 Ross Barlow 18 Kyle McRoberts 19 Deckab Ferguson
YOUTH TEAMS IN ACTION
On Sunday, just the U16 Boys in action as they travel to Stewartry in the Wilderness Cup.
The teams have met this season with the Annan/Moffat U!6 Boys coming out on top but Stewartry playing at home are always a tough nut to crack so the team know they will need to be firing on all cylinders to come away with the win.
1pm KO
Best of luck to all the teams this weekend.
