Match Report, Photos Tries and Match Highlights – Now Online
After last weeks great win over Wigtownshire, the 1st XV have another massive match as they welcome Oban Lorne to Violetbank.
The lads from the North are having a decent season and are probably favourites to end up in 2nd and will be keen to do the double over Annan and also win at Annan for the first time.
For Annan, a 4 or 5 point win would be a huge boost in their late run to avoid bottom place and relegation. Will be a tough ask & game against probably the 2nd best team this season in the league but if they manage it, they could potentially go above Strathaven in the league and then the match next Saturday away to Strathaven becomes more or less a West 1 Survival match.
But its so tight that even with 2 wins against Oban and Strathaven, Annan might still need to get something in their last match away to West 1 and unbeaten champions Ardrossan! And all this is based on just 1 going down. If its 2 it gets even harder!
Anyway, 1 game at a time and so Oban on Saturday is a big one!
Note the game kicks off at the earlier time of 2pm and the players and coaches would, as always, appreciate a big loud home support to cheers the lads on.

2ND XV ALSO AT HOME
STOP PRESS: The lads go down 81-7 to West 2 Reserve Champion Allan Glens. Well stuck in lads.
Match Highlights and the Adam Torbett try – Now Online
The 2nd XV are also at home this week as they entertain Allan Glens.
After 2 wins in a row the 2nd XV lads will be wanting to continue this winning run but again like the 1st XV, it will be a tough match against a team that if they win will become West 2 reserve league winners for season 2023/24
Its is hoped that after the recent success they Coaches will be able to get a full squad out for this match.
