2ND XV ARE AT HOME

STOP PRESS: 2nd XV go down 29-12. Match Report – Now Online

The 2nd XV are at home on Saturday when they face 2nd placed GU Hills at Violetbank.

Last week’s match was called off due to the weather so the 2nd XV still have 8 league matches to fulfill, 6 at home and 2 away.

With the lads having done the hard part in fulfilling the majority of their away matches it is hoped the 2nd X will be able to fulfill all the remaining matches (assuming teams travel to Violetbank)

Over 65 players have played for the senior men’s teams this season so we should hopefully get a full squad of 22+ out on Saturday.

Could any players that are available and wish to play, please reply on SPOND, via StevenJancey@gmail.com or on 0787 162 1476 before Wednesday evening 8pm.

2pm KO

2nd XV starting team: TBC

2nd XV subs: TBC

WARRIORS START THEIR SHIELD CAMPAIGN

STOP PRESS: Warriors WIN! 24-5. Top stuff! Match Report – Now Online

The Warriors concluded their West 1 league season last week with a defeat to Greenock Ladies in terrible rugby weather conditions.

It was a disappointing season in respect to the fact the Warriors will be relegated to West 2 for next season and only had 1 draw to show for their efforts but Coach Warrick will no doubt be happy with the progress the many new Warriors have made over the season so far.

On Sunday the Warriors are on the road once again as they travel to the east coast and Fife as they take on the Caledonian Midlands/East Region League 2 champions Dunfermline in the first group match of the National Shield

It will be the first meeting between the teams and it will be a test to see what the Warriors have learned in the tough West 1 league against their East 2 opponents.

KO: TBC (either 2pm or 2,30pm)

Best of luck Warriors

Warriors XV starting team: TBC

Warriors XV subs: TBC
