RugbyForce Day / Violetbank Spruce Up. 9am start. Volunteers always welcome

Plus the France v Scotland and England v Wales matches will be on at 17 Bank Street. Doors: 5pm. All welcome

Sunday

The Warriors will hopefully have a pre season match against a TBC opponents. The original opponents have pulled out so Coach Choc is on the case.

ANNAN MEN HOST CARLISLE AND LIVINGSTON

STOP PRESS: The 2nd XV match is off as Livingston could not raise a team to travel to Annan.

The now 30+ strong Annan squad ran out 26-25 winners over Carlisle. Well played lads and enjoy the beers in the clubhouse.

If all goes well, then the first 15 a side pre season matches will be up at Violetbank on Saturday as the 1st XV host near neighbours Carlisle while the 2nd XV take on Livingston.

Both matches kick off at 3pm and Coach Juan Phyfer will be wanting 2 large squads to start the season off with a bang.

The men then have matches versus Langholm (19th – Squad Match) before both squads travel to Kilmarnock on the 2nd September for the start of the league season.

Coach Colin Warrick is currently trying to finalise a preseason match on Sunday.

The original opponents pulled out but Coach Warrick will be wanting a match as the Warriors get ready for the start of their league season the following Sunday – away to Wigtownshire Ladies
