TOUGH WEEKEND FOR THE TEAMS
ANNAN XV IN A PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY AGAINST STRATHAVEN
On Saturday, an Annan XV consisting of 1st XV, 2nd XV and returning players headed off to Strathaven for a pre season friendly.
It was a tough match with Strathaven coming out on top 24-7.
The lone Annan try coming from Alex Jones in the second half.

WARRIORS GO DOWN HEAVILY TO BIGGAR LADIES
On Sunday the Warriors took the short trip to Biggar Ladies for their first 15 a side match since February 2020.
Despite scoring first thanks to a Captain Nicole Barlow try, it was one way traffic after that as Biggar Ladies ran in 10 tries over the 4 x 20 minute periods.
The Warriors did score again twice in the last quarter thanks again to Captain Nicole but it was a bad day at the office for the Warriors.
Lots to work on in the coming weeks,
Final Score: 62-17 to Biggar Ladies.

Training for the Men and Women continues this week.
Monday and Thursday 6.45pm to 8.30pm for the men and Tuesday and Thursday 7pm to 8.30pm for the Women.
