*Technically a draw, but will take it!

Annan took the lead early on thanks to a Frazer Hope try. Lex Stevenson with the conversion.

But a strong Wigtownshire fight took it to 15-7 at half time.

An early 2nd-half James Kirby try made it 15-12, but like in the 1st half, Wigtownshire scored a couple more to stretch their lead to 27-12.

Game over?

With 10 minutes left it was 27-24. 10 minutes earlier, John Glendinning made it 27-17 then Max Thorburn crashed over, James Kirby converted and an exciting 600 seconds ahead!

And then with about 10 seconds left, it was 27-27. Kirby with the nerves of steel with a successful penalty kick after sustained Annan pressure

Into extra time and a nervy first half but alas it was the home side who took the lead again. 34-27

600 seconds again for Annan to turn it around

And James Kirby popped up to score his 2nd. Alas the conversion was missed. 34-32

As time was running out, Annan finally retook the lead. The mighty Oban Nicholson crossed the whitewash. Kirby again converted. 34-39

It then went to 39-39 with seconds remaining, but the kicked was missed

It ended 39-39

Due to competition rules Annan went through after tries scored the same, drop goals the same, conversions the same but more yellow/red cards for Wigtownshire!
