STRATHENDRICK 2ND XV v ANNAN 2ND XV

On the 16th September Annan 2nd team travelled to Strathendrick for their latestleague match.

Strathendrick scored first with a converted and then an unconverted try.

Annan then replied with an interception by Capt Ryan Armstrong who ran half the length of the pitch to score, converted by Scott Muir. Score 15-7 in the home sides favour.

Strathendrick were then awarded a penalty which gave a score of Strathendrick 18 Annan 7. Two more Strathendrick tries, both converted, made the half time score Strathendrick 32 Annan 7

In the second half Annan performed much better gaining a well worked try by Ryan Hetherington which was unconverted.

Strathendrick added another unconverted try to give a final score of Strathendrick 37-12 Annan.

For the forwards Ryan Armstrong, John MacKay, Kyle Rennie, Kyle Bell and James Morrison put in strong performances.

For the backs Bradley James on his first outing at scrum half, Declan Ferguson at centre and John Glendinning were pick of the bunch. A big thank you to all the team for making the journey.
