Match Report from Coach Neil Moffat
On Friday evening our boys U13 team made the cross border journey to Carlisle.
The match was played in 4 quarters with the first three neither side giving and inch with good defence and strong running from both sides. After three quarters of toe to toe tussle it was 7 scores each!
The Annan lads travelled with only one substitute and this took its toll in the last quarter. Up until this point the visitors were the more dominant in the rucks however the added cavalry on the home sides bench and a vocal side line saw the Carlisle young guns take the victory.
The whole game was played in great spirits with great rugby on show.
In the forwards Harris is starting to shine with Max in the backs has grit between his teeth.
Player of the match goes to Captain Archie who is starting to get back to his old self returning from injury.
