Last Sunday saw Annan U14 Hornets welcome teams from Marr and Dumfries to Violetbank in the next round of their mini festivals.

The girls played 4 games in total showing some great attacking rugby when the ball was in hand, and scored some brilliant team, as well as individual tries.

In training this week we have been working on defence and rucking and the girls are excited to put what they’ve learned into practice this Sunday as they head to Dumfries for the next round of games.

The girls voted Holly as their player of day for her brilliant support and tackling, and coaches player went to Tilda for her strong ball carrying and powerful runs in attack.

It’s fantastic to see the girls grow in confidence each week and really enjoy their rugby.

The U14 Hornets train every Wednesday 6.30pm – 8pm up at Violetbank, and new girls are always most welcome to come along and give it a try!
