REPORT FROM TERRI GRAHAM

Our U14 Hornets hosted their first Evolution Tournament on Sunday and were joined by Marr and Ayr.

The girls played 6-a-side, 8 minute games and played each team twice.

For a very young and new team, they played very well, some of our more experienced players supporting the newer U14 players on the pitch.

The girls were quick into the rucks, skilled with their passes and didn’t shy away from tackles. They did not give up the chase playing against more experienced teams.

They came together as a brilliant wee team, keep it up, girls!

Tries scored throughout the day by Taylor, Holly and Tilda (apologies if I missed anyone!).

Thank you to Jane, Carla and Aylish for all their help in the Grubber and pitch side.

Next tournament is away to Marr on 8th September.
