After Kilmarnock 2nd team had failed to show up and the Isle of Mull had let down Moffat both clubs were left without a fixture. So a friendly was arranged between Annan and Moffat.

Annan scored first when prop Ben Sweeny crashed over the whitewash.

Moffat responded with a good try of their own.

Then Max Thorburn got Annans second Converted by Scott Muir.

Moffat scored two more unconverted tries before Injuries to Ewan Campbell, Scott Muir and Lex Stevenson left Annan depleted of backs.
