The Glasgow team were sitting in 2nd spot with 2 wins and 10 points from their first 2 games.

The Warriors were still looking for their first point after their first 2 matches

The Warriors also had a point to prove after last week’s match away to Oban. And boy did they!

Led out by Jane Haren and Lexie Glendinning who were starting for the 100th and 50th time, the Warriors exploded out of the blocks.

First 20 and it was 19-7. Jane Haren (who else) with an early score, followed by Nicole Jancey and Kelcie Smith. Mally McGeogh with 2 conversions.

By half time it was 40-7

To keep it short, as I have a tendency to ramble, it finished 64 v 26

Hills hit back in the second half but the first half performance was well enough to see the Warriors through.
