RUGBY MATCHES

2ND XV IN FINAL MATCH OF THE SEASON

The 2nd XV travel to Allan Glens on Saturday for their final West 1 reserve match of the season

Annan currently sit 2nd bottom in the division, and relegation looks a firm possibility, but if Kilmarnock lose to Marr on Thursday, then Annan can still stay up if they can beat the Bishopbriggs side

Either way, it’s been a decent season for the 2nd XV, and they will be hoping to build on it next season, regardless of what division they end up in

Match kicks off at 3pm

YOUTH TEAMS IN ACTION

3 age groups in action this week.

On Friday, the Annan U13 Boys welcome Warrington Rugby to Violetbank. The North English side are brinng 70 players and supporters and will also be taking on a Dumfries U13 Boys team.

Both matches kick off at 6.30pm up at Violetbank.

On Sunday, the U13 Girls are off to Wigtownshire for a Girls Rugby festival while the U6-U12 Tigers host a Mini Rugby Festival at Viioletbank, welcoming clubs from around the region.

Both start at 11am

Good luck to all the teams this weekend
