SENIOR WOMEN’S COACHING VACANCIES

Annan Warriors Women’s Rugby Team currently play in Scottish Rugby’s West Region Division 2 and are the current champions of the Scottish National Plate.

They are a well established team, with ten seasons played since the reformation of the women’s team in 2015.

Annan Rugby is at the forefront of the community in South West Scotland. Alongside the women, we have two men’s teams, six midi teams, and a thriving minis section.

The women are looking for a passionate, forward thinking and enthusiastic person or persons to create a fresh and exciting coaching team to set new challenges and nurture our current, aswell as upcoming players.

The successful person(s) would plan and deliver 2 training sessions each week during the season (Tue & Wed/Thu evenings) and assist on match days (Sun) whilst helping develop the ‘Annan Way’ of playing rugby through a challenging yet enjoyable environment, aligned with the club values and ethos.

It would be desired, but not necessary as training can be given, to have the following knowledge & abilities;

• Recent experience of working as a coach within a senior rugby environment.
• UKCC Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent.
• Willingness to invest in self-development. The club will support and invest towards CPD.
