On Friday the P6-P7 Tigers are off to Langholm to play/train with the hosts and Jed Forest. 1pm start

While on Saturday, the 2nd XV are at home to Cambuslang in their last home league match of the season. 3pm KO

P6-P7 TIGERS OFF TO LANGHOLM

It might be the Easter holidays but no stopping the P6-P7 Tigers as they are off to near neighbours Langholm on Friday afternoon to play/train with the hosts and Jed Forest.

1pm start.

2ND XV HOST CAMBUSLANG AT VIOLETBANK

STOP PRESS: Alas the match was CANCELLED as Cambuslang could not raise a team………………

On Saturday the 2nd XV host their last home league match of the season as they welcome Cambuslang to Violetbank.

Its been a pretty stop start season for the 2nd XV and it’s hoped that next season, with hopefully Covid behind us, and the SRU perhaps sorting out the reserve leagues, the 2nd XV get to play a few more matches!

In the 30 weeks of the season so far the 2nd XV have only managed to play 11 matches, 2 of those friendlies. With the senior mens playing numbers at a high it’s unfortunate that there are not more teams willing to travel to Violetbank on a Saturday.

On Saturday, a win v Cambuslang would put Annan just 1 point behind the South Lanarkshire team.

Annan do have 1 match left, away to Ardrossan Accies but Ardrossan have been struggling all season to raise a 2nd XV so not 100% sure this match will be going ahead.

A big Annan support at Violetbank is always appreciated by the lads.
