DELNA WESTON

It is with sadness that the club has to announce that, after a short illness, Delna Weston passed away on Tuesday 22nd March.

Delna was a member of long standing and has held the office of Club Secretary.

Delna was feisty but with an impish sense of humour and always great company. We shall miss her greatly.

To show our respect, there will be a minutes silence before match KO, at Violetbank this Saturday

UPDATE: FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

“Our lovely mum, has left this mortal coil unexpectedly and well before her time.

Our hearts are broken but we celebrate the blessing that she has been in our lives; as mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many.

We will be arranging a fittingly exuberant farewell party as she would have insisted on, with a necessary funeral service to tick the box too. Dress code strictly rainbow.

Anyone wishing to attend the service, it’s at Carlisle Crematorium at 10.20am on Friday 1st April thereafter to Annan Rugby Club clubhouse, at 17 Bank Street at 1pm”
