ANNAN U14 GIRLS V WIGTOWNSHIRE AND CUMNOCK GIRLS
CLUB V CLUB
9TH OCTOBER 2022
MATCH REPORT FROM COACH BILLY HENDERSON
The U14 Girls welcomed teams from Cumnock and Wigtownshire today Violetbank on Sunday morning.
The Annan U14 Girls has a squad of 17 players so they were split them into 2 teams. Not so much on ability, more along the lines of which girls are moving up to U16 level next year and the girls who will still be U14. I kept a couple of older heads in the younger team.
All good today 4 games played and 4 wins.
Lots of action today and I didn’t take notes.
Sarah Lockie good evasion up the touch line for her first Hornets try. Maddy Grierson good strong run from distance. Holly Atkinson playing one off her first games and noticeable grew in confidence as time went on. Similarly for Lila St John-Clair. Alahna Dinnin had a good first game with Eva Cable a good fit for scrum half.
All the usual suspects getting try’s with Megan as usual getting the majority.
My player of the day would be Shaenah with a few others shining as bright.
Thanks to AJ for referring, the lady’s in the grubber and Cumnock, Wigtownshire and Annan girls for putting on a fair sportswomen performance.
Well done all
