Match Report from: LOGAN JOHNSTONE
On Saturday morning, Annan started off with 12 lads to travel to their latest league match but by Saturday mid morning, with the support a great bunch of lads, we took 20 men up to play Carrick 2nd XV.
With many of the the boys just meeting up with each other 3 hours before kick off – what a game – great tackling, fantastic scrums and unbelievable team spirit.
A very tight game, a lot of good movement and a lot of strong running.
The game finishing 7-5 which shows how tight and hard the lads fought . Well done Annan 2nd XV
The 2nd XV now have a home match this Saturday to look forward to as they host undefeated Kilmarnock 2nd XV and it’s hoped the 2nd XV can once again put out a strong team.
