The Annan P6/7 Tigers travelled to Scotstoun for a rugby festival before the 1872 cup Glasgow v Edinburgh on Saturday 21st Dec.
The Tigers played 3 matches, with 8 players and 8 mins long, against West of Scotland, Ardrossan Accies and Cambuslang.
The Tigers were narrowly beaten by West of Scotland 2 scores to 1. The Tigers then played Ardrossan who the Tigers outscored 4 scores to 2. Finally the Tigers played Cambuslang where they had another brilliant game and won 6 scores to 2.
By winning 2 out of 3 the Tigers earned the right to play on the big pitch at halftime of the 1872 cup game v Glasgow Accies. The Tigers narrowly lost 1-0 but what an experience for all the players.
They can be very proud and pleased of their efforts and massive thanks to all the parents and relatives of the players.
Also a huge thanks to Chelsea for coming along to help coach the team.
