P1-P3 Match Report from: Craig Johnstone

Annan Micros traveled to our local rivals and friends Moffat Rams for their second mini festival of the season. In a repeat of last weekend fixtures, Annan Micros once again had games against Moffat and Lanark.

5 enthusiastic Micros took up this weekend’s challenge with their first game once again against a strong Moffat Rams team. This however did not effect Annan Micros who dominated with possession rugby throughout the game.

Making his Micros debut was Oliver Duignan, if he was nervous it definitely didn’t show, creating space and making mesmerising run after run! Meris picked up from where she left off from last week with some strong attacking forward play and all her effort was rewarded with a number of tries.

Also adding to the scoreboard was Jack and Travis who combined on several occasions with fast accurate passing and fast cross field play, getting across the Rams try line on a several occasions. When the Rams did get forward, they where met by a strong defensive display from Imoen, stopping several strong attacks.

Annan’s second game was against Lanark Eagles and once again Annan Micros performance was as strong as their first, creating many opportunities with a strong attacking and defensive display, scoring a number of tries in the process.

A big well done to all the Micros today, a really strong performance from all. Once again a big thank you to all who attended and supported Annan Tigers and good luck to all at our home festival on Sunday 22nd September
