With several coaches and volunteers stepping down and with our player numbers growing – we urgently need help to continue providing great experiences for our kids.

We also have other roles at the club that are not team specific but are just as important.

  • Set up and run the Grubber for Sunday sessions
  • Prepare teas, coffees, juice and snacks
  • Handle cash float and card transactions
  • Help with tidy-up at the end

GENERAL HELPER / EVENT VOLUNTEER

Support the smooth running of fun, family-friendly events throughout the year and help raise vital funds for our Mini Rugby section.

MAIN TASKS

  • Help organise and run festive events (Christmas parties, Food Drives etc.)
  • Assist with club fundraisers (raffles, race nights, highland games)
  • Run stalls, games, registration tables or bake sales

EXPERIENCE

None required – just a willingness to get involved. Full support given.

MINI RUGBY CO-ORDINATOR

ADMIN & COMMUNICATION


TIME COMMITMENT

1 hour per week (primarily pre-season)

ROLE OVERVIEW

Coordinate friendly fixtures and festivals for U6–U12 teams by liaising with opposition clubs, coaches, and team managers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable match day experience.

MAIN TASKS

  • Communicate with opposition clubs to arrange friendly matches and festivals for U6–U12 age groups.
  • Liaise with club coaches to confirm player availability and team numbers
  • Distribute match day details (venue, time, format, etc.) to Mini Team Managers
  • Support the organisation and promotion of mini rugby events

EXPERIENCE

No prior experience required – full support and guidance provided

Enthusiastic individuals who enjoy planning, communicating, and contributing to the growth and fun of mini rugby


CLUB SECRETATY

ADMIN & COMMUNICATION


TIME COMMITMENT

3-4 hours per month (including monthly committee meetings)

ROLE OVERVIEW

Support the smooth running of the club by taking accurate minutes at committee meetings and managing communication across the club through email and other official channels.

MAIN TASKS

  • Attend and take minutes at monthly committee meetings
  • Distribute meeting agendas and minutes to relevant members in a timely manner
  • Share important club-wide information and updates via email
  • Support the coordination of club governance and compliance tasks as needed

EXPERIENCE

No formal experience required, but good organisational and written communication skills are helpful
