RUGBY MATCHES
1ST & 2ND XV ON THE ROAD
Both the 1st XV & 2nd XV’s are on the road on Saturday.
The 1st XV are away to Oban in another big match as with Annan only 7 points clear of 2nd bottom Oban, a win for the visitors could put Annan up to 12 points clear but a loss could reduce the gap to just 2!
With this being the 10th match of the 18 match league season, every match and point is crucial in the battle to avoid being in a relegation battle with a few matches to go.
The 2nd XV are away to Kilmarnock in their latest West Reserve 2 match
The teams met earlier in the season with the Annan lads racking up an impressive home victory and it’s hoped that the injury and unavailability problems that 2nd XV have had over the last few away matches has been resolved and a full squad will be off to Bellsland for this match
Matches kicks off at 2pm
WARRIORS ON THE ROAD
The Warriors have their last match of 2025 and their last West 2 League match on Sunday as they travel to Hamilton on Sunday.
Its been a mixed season with the Warriors coming up short against the top 2 teams Oban and Lenzie but have won all 7 matches so far against the teams below them. They will be aiming to make it 8 wins on Sunday but know that Hamilton on their own patch are no pushovers.
2pm KO
YOUTH TEAMS IN ACTION
At the weekend we have 4 Youth sections in action
On Saturday the U18 Boys are away to Stewarty for their latest league match. 2pm KO
On Sunday the Dumfries and Galloway Girls are in the Final of the U18 Girls National Plate. 11am KO at Park Farm, Dumfries.
While the U14 Girls are off to Wigtownshire for a U14 Girls rugby festival while the U6-U12 Tigers are on the road to Creighton for their last set of matches before the xmas break.
Best of luck to all the teams this weekend
