Also on Monday there is the S1-S6 Strength and Conditioning
Training has ended (bar U16 Boys on Wednesday) but Tartan Touch Rugby is on this Friday at Violetbank to keep the fitness up! 6.30pm start.
All ages welcome. No rugby experience necessary.
On Wednesday and Thursday the U14 and U16 Boys and Girls host Moffat in a series of transition matches.
On Saturday, its Ladies Day, Meerkats v the Grizzlies then Saturday Night at the Rugby Club! #SuperSaturday
While on Sunday, the U16 Boys are back in action at home to Wigtownshire.
TEAMS IN ACTION
STOP PRESS: Only the U16 Boys played in the end in the transition games – losing just, 6 tries to 8 v Moffat on Thursday but beating Wigtownshire 52-26 on Sunday. Well played lads
On Saturday the Meerkats took the win 59-41 – a classic!
As we come to a end of the 2022/23 rugby season, there’s still a few matches left to play
On Wednesday and Thursday the U14 and U16 Boys and Girls take on the counterparts from Moffat at Violetbank. These are all transitional matches as the players for next season get their soem game time with their new age groups. The U14 games in Wednesday kick off at 6.3pm while its 7pm of Thursday for the U16 matches.
On Saturday its the annual end of season clash between to Annan Grizzlie (over 35ish) and the Annan Meerkats (under 35ish). The Meerkats are the current holders but the Grizzlies have the lead in win 6-3.Will be a great afternoon of rugby. The match kicks off at 2pm. Free entry with Bar and BBQ.
The teams are playing for the Sarah “Our Bella” Bell Happy Memories Trophy.
It is also Ladies Day and the clubhouse will be open until late for the return of the Saturday Night Disco. Should be a super Saturday!
On Sunday, the U16 Boys are back in action in another transition match at Violetbank, this time taking on Wigtownshire. 2pm KO
