Normally during the Six Nations championship Annan Rugby opens its clubhouse in Bank Street, Annan to all members, supporters and the wider community.

Unfortunately due to the current lockdown restrictions we were unable to be open as usual. Instead the club ran a donate a pint initiative during the championship.

This involved members and supporters donating the cost of a pint to assist the club weather these difficult times.

As a result of the generous donations received the club raised an amazing £855.

Club President Gary Coupland said:

‘I’d like to personally thank everyone who donated to the club through this initiative.

These donations are gratefully received and will be used to assist the club in its recovery from the ongoing impact of COVID 19’.
