Back in November 2019 I attended some training in relation to Club Values and it was suggested that we look at our refreshing ours.

It was agreed that input from the wider Club community was important and it was also an ideal opportunity to also seek feedback on various aspects of Club life.

A survey was collated and shared with all members in January 2020, which received a total of 89 responses, representing a wide variety of roles within the Club.

I can announce that our new Club Values are:

• Enjoyment
• Respect
• Teamwork
• Development

I look forward to meeting with the various teams and groups within the Club (when it is safe to do so), to roll these out in more detail and encourage everyone to think about what this means to them and their role within the Club.

We also took on board the feedback that was given and used this to inform the below action plan.

Sometimes there is clear action that can be taken and goals set; whereas for other suggestions we found that explanations and further detail were more appropriate.

This Values Action Plan will also feed into the overall 5-Year Plan.
