MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH MONTH AND INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY

International Men's Day falls on the 19th November, and is dedicated to focussing on a wider range of men's health issues. Unfortunately men tend to be more reluctant to seek help or treatment for their mental health struggles and talking about your problems is not really accepted (it's not a guy thing)

SAMH AND ANNAN RUGBY

We at Annan Rugby have wanted to become involved in joining Scotland's Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity and Sport for Clubs and Communities. So I am delighted to say that I've just received an email informing us that we have become a signatory for the aforementioned. We would like to highlight World Suicide Prevention Day, a most important day with 1 in 3 people struggling with their Mental Health at some point in their lives.

LAST WEEKEND: 8TH/9TH APRIL 2022

Just 2 teams in action this weekend. On Friday the P6-P7 Tigers are off to Langholm while on Saturday 2nd XV are in action at home to Cambuslang.

LAST WEEKEND: 2ND/3RD APRIL 2022

6 teams in action this weekend. On Saturday the 1st XV and 2nd XV are in action. While on the Sunday it's the turn of the U14 boys and the P1-P7 boys and girls who all take to the rugby pitches.

LAST WEEKEND: 26TH/27TH MARCH 2022

6 teams in action this weekend. On Saturday the 1st XV and U16 Girls are in action. While on the Sunday it's the turn of the U14 boys and the P1-P7 boys and girls who all take to the rugby pitches.

7 teams in action this weekend. On Saturday the 1st and 2nd XV are in action while the Scotland match is on at 17 Bank Street. While on the Sunday it's the turn of the U14 boys, U14 girls and the P1-P7 boys and girls who all take to the rugby pitches.

P1-P7 GIRLS & BOYS EASTER RUGBY CAMPS Monday 4th and Wednesday 6th April up at Violetbank

LAST WEEKEND: 5TH/6TH MARCH 2022

The Senior men's teams are back in action on Saturday. On Sunday at Violetbank, the U12-U14 Girls host a festival of rugby. The U15 Boys are away to Birkmyre And last, but by no means least, the P1-P7 Tigers are on the road to neighbours Dumfries.

LAST WEEKEND: 26TH/27TH FEBRUARY 2022

On Sunday, our U18 Girls are joining up with Biggar Girls as they take on D&G Girls, the U16 Girls have a home rugby festival as they hosts teams from around the region, the U15 Boys finally start their cup campaign with a home tie v Marr while the P1-P7 Tigers are off to Moffat

LAST WEEKEND: 19TH/20TH FEBRUARY 2022

5 teams in action this weekend, with 3 at Violetbank if the weather is kind and the pitches hold up. A big Annan support for any of the matches would be as always most appreciated.
