ISLE OF COLL DISTILLERY AND TEAM ANNAN

The Annan Rugby Doddie 555 Ride Team are delighted to announce sponsorship and a donation of £10,000 to their fundraising efforts from the Isle of Coll Distillery, with an additional donation of £10 for every 70cl bottle of their Gin and Vodka sold during the period of the ride.

DODDIE CUP 555 BIKE RIDE

On Thursday 9th February, a team from Annan Rugby Club will depart Cardiff’s Principality Stadium as part of the Doddie Cup 555 Challenge. The team will cycle 555 miles - including 26,556 feet of elevation - in the depths of a British winter aiming to reaching Murrayfield in time to watch Scotland play Wales in the Guinness 6 Nations, 2.5 days after they start.

Doddie Cup 555 - Annan Rugby will be taking part in the 2023 Doddie Cup 555 - riding from Cardiff to Edinburgh on the 9th-11th February in time for the Scotland v Wales match.

On Friday, Tartan Touch is on for week 2 down at the Everholm On Saturday the 1st XV have their last league match of the season as they entertain Kilmarnock and U14 Tiger Danny Bell is off on his sponsored walk to raise funds for Papyrus. On Sunday the U13-U18 Boys and Girls have their annual awards ceremony at 17 Bank Street

6 teams in action this week. On Wednesday the U14 and U16 Girls are at home to Stewartry. On Sunday the 3 P1-P7 squads are off to Moffat while the U12 and U14 Girls are in action away to Hamilton. While on Friday, Tartan Touch returns to Annan Rugby down at the Everholm

MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP

LooseHead in partnership with the Mental Health Foundation have produced a free workshop on the Introduction to Mental Health. In this free resource they aim to provide a greater understanding of mental health, as well as an overview of how to stop commons signs of mental health disorders in others.

Tuesday 24th May marks to the return of the 6 Week Fitness Boot Camp to Violetbank after last year's popular camp. For girls and women aged 16+ and up. Everyone welcome. Members and Non-Members. This is not a Rugby Camp but a Fitness Camp.
